This is very hard to answer because is very personal but yes, there was a problem in my house when my family know that I was going out with a person of the other race. They started criticize me because they know that most of the people from that race are bad. However, one day my boyfriend decided to meet my mom with my hole family and they start knowing him and realizing that no all the people are the same. So, at this point I still with him and we live happy as we didn't had problems before. 964876
964876, wow. i am glad to hear that your problems worked out fine. my situation wasn't so easy. i, too, was with a person of another race (but i didn't really see him as another race. i saw him as my love!). my family will not talk to me. my dad says i do not exist anymore. you are lucky!
There have never been any conflicts in my family about anyone in the family marrying someone from another culture ,but i have such a nice family and i think that they would never make any drama of it because they respect anyone's decisions ,as longs as you're happy they are going to be happy too.987601
